This project was created as part of a photography project at the university. It was done under the theme of perfection. I decided to photograph a poem by Lewis McNiece called the Prayer Before Birth.
In this project I photographed different sections of the poem and I included some photographs that were taken by contacting different models. This was done by putting up adverts on Gumtree of all places and I managed to have quite a good bit of feedback.
I was able to contact these people and arrange photographs at their house. One of the models happened to be a pregnant lady who allowed me to photograph her in different positions with her partner present, including the photograph of the snail on her belly
